The Xiaomi Mi 9 is packed a load of modern-day smartphone technology into a stylish mid-budget smartphone with an affordable price tag. The most notable highlights of the device include a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 CPU and up to 8 GB of RAM packed into a dual-screen phone with a futuristic, flat design. Apart from the interesting specs, the device also boasts a gorgeous, futuristic, Gorilla Glass 5 screen, high-end speakers, a large LCD, and a fingerprint sensor.

The Mi 9 has two SIM cards – a SIM slot for GSM carriers in China like China Mobile, and a slot for international SIMs from any country. The phone also has a USB Type-C port which can be used to connect headphones or connect the Mi pad to the computer. In addition, the phone supports a micro SD card, although this slot can only support SD cards which use a host device like Micro SD. The Mi 9 comes with two external memory cards – a 16GB card for use on the phone itself, and a huge 2GB card which you can connect to the computer. The Mi 9 specifications have leaked online before its official release, and it appears that the leaks give us more information about the phone’s design and how it will come in colours like black, grey, white, pink, gold, silver, and yellow. It also gives us our first look at some of the new features that the company is including in its upgrade to Android Kitkat 3.4. The Mi interface has been completely redesigned to provide users with a more fluid experience. It is also lighter and takes up less space on the homescreen.
